JR北海道 岩見沢駅

遠くの街と街をつなぐ駅は足元の街を駅前と駅裏に分断しているという矛盾への問題提起に端を発した提案。駅舎をブリッジ状に持ち上げることにより、駅の裏と表をつなげるだけでなく、駅のアクティビティ自体が駅の顔となる提案。駅舎はあくまで風景のフレームと化している。 (清正崇と共同　構造:オーク構造設計　設備:スタジオランプ)

Iwamizawa Station , JR Hokkaido

This is a proposal to the contradictory situation that a station connects distant towns, but on the other hand a station divides the hometown into the front and the back. By lifting station like bridge ,the front of station is connected with the back of station ,and activity at station becomes attraction of station. The station become frame of scenery rather than a leading actor.
